ConReview: Geneva Steam Convention 2017

Geneva Steampunk Convention is a fun, frolicking steampunk event held at Lake Lawn Hotel and Resort in Delevan, WI every March. Tea events, a Grand Ball, exciting vendor rooms, panels and winter games are just a few highlights this friendly costumed Mid-Winter Carnival has to offer attendees. Geneva Steam is not geared towards full immersion, but more in line of a fantastic adventure into Steampunk, music, friendship building and winter relaxation wearing amazing clothing in a vacation environment.

This con gets 3.9 thumbs up out of 5 for excellent panels, exciting clothing art, period costuming and opportunities to network and make new friends who love steampunk! This con is uber reasonable and close by if you’re in the Midwest, so try it out next March. If your jam is comics and cosplay, prep for Geneva Steam next year – the theme is Heroes and Villains! Get on Pinterest, google steampunk cosplay and work your steampunk hero or villain it up for next year.
