About RPCC:

THE INAUGURAL RENO POP CULTURE CON –


2019 is the inaugural year for Reno Pop Culture Con, a three-day, family-friendly, fan-focused extravaganza, featuring the best in pop culture entertainment. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet comics artists and writers, book authors, and celebrity guests, shop for collectibles, attend panels and programming, or visit the Pop Culture Classroom’s Kids’ Lab.

RPCC is produced by Pop Culture Classroom, the same nonprofit team behind the hugely successful Denver Pop Culture Con. DPCC is one of the largest pop culture celebrations in North America. Just like Denver, the Reno Con is differentiated by its ongoing, unwavering commitment to promoting pop culture-based education for all.

OPENING NIGHT

As part of RPCC’s Family-Friendly Flashback-Friday, see Jimmie Walker (Good Times) and the Unknown Comic, Murray Langston (Gong Show) do stand-up comedy that even the kids will enjoy.

CELEBRITY SUMMIT

Celebrity Summit is the place to see and meet the biggest stars from your favorite sci-fi and fantasy films, TV and animation. Get autographs and pose together for pro photos!

One of the central goals of Pop Culture Classroom and Reno Pop Culture Con is to provide teachers, librarians, administrators, and other educators the chance to learn how they can improve their craft using the tools of pop culture. Qualified educators receive FREE admission to Reno Pop Culture Con! 


Experience the Comix

Pop Culture Classroom offers qualifying middle and high school student groups and their chaperons FREE admission to Reno Pop Culture Con on Friday, November 8th, with the goal of introducing them to a wide variety of pop culture media, creators and careers. Join us for a one-of-a-kind field trip your students will never forget! 

As with all events of this nature, they are excepting volunteers to help run the show! Volunteering at a con is a great way to get involved!
