Google is getting into wearables in the best way possible

In much the same way they changed the mobile phone industry in 2007 with Android they have built a platform for wearables. Calling it Android Wear they have ported the open devolper community of Android to the smart watch market. They only showed built in google features but look forward to what apps people will make for the new platform. It does feature the always on funtionality that was found in the Motorola X and the Google Glass. So all you have to do is say ‘Ok Google’ and it is ready to do your bidding. They are already working with Asus, HTC, LG, Motorola and Fossil to bring devices out soon. Having Fossil make a smart watch is a good thing to show that non tech company’s can jump into the wearable market as well. I will post the videos talking about Android Wear below.
