Jena Malone Confirmed as Robin for Dawn of Justice

When Jena Malone was seen visiting the set of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice recently, it didn’t take long for sites to start speculating that she would be playing the female Robin in the Man of Steel follow-up (especially as the Sucker Punch actress dyed her hair red, just like Carrie Kelley). This time, just about every site – including Variety – have picked up on a report from WILX-10 News in which they claim to have been told by one extra that, “the character of Robin is now female”. This is the same extra who revealed those details about a scene featuring Bruce Wayne and Lex Luthor. The site reached out to Warner Bros., but they have declined to comment. It all seems a bit silly, but you can’t deny that she looks the part and it would make sense considering that fact that director Zack Snyder is taking a lot of inspiration from The Dark Knight Returns. This anonymous extra apparently faces a fine of $5 million for breaking their non-disclosure agreement if caught, so why they would decide to risk speaking to these guys is unclear. What do you guys think?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, multiple sources have confirmed to them that,

“Jena Malone is in the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice cast…whether or not she is playing a female version of Batman’s erstwhile sidekick Robin, remains close to the Bat-chest.”

The Hungry Gamer Reviews Tzolk’in

One of the more highly anticipated games from 2020 was Pendulum, a game that had a core conceit of time, the longer the worker stays out on the board the more powerful it is. Whether or not that game worked is a different article, but the concept of time being part of the mechanic for the worker placement game had been done previously, and if popular opinion can be believed, had been done very well in Tzolk'in, a game which has been around since 2012.
