Invader Zim Rises Up in New Comic This July

Invader ZimDon’t lie: You’ve got the theme song running in your head now.

If you grew up in the early 2000s, you’re probably familiar with the Jhoen Vasquez’s created dose of pure insanity called Invader Zim, a Nickelodeon cartoon about an insane alien trying to take over a Earth that, frankly speaking, deserved to be. This  series saw a cancellation rather quickly, but it attracted a very loyal fanbase nonetheless.

But it’s back. This July, Vasquez and Nickelodeon are teaming up with comic’s publisher ONI Press (The Sixth Gun, Letter 44) to continue the series. Now it suddenly seems like things like Secret Wars have become less important now.
