Super Smash Flash 2 – Making Flash Gaming Fun Again

Every now and then someone comes across something that changes their perception on how things are. For one game player, that would be Super Smash Flash 2 by Mcleodgaming. Originally, it was only a simple came called Super Smash Flash. Then Cleod 9 decided to make a sequel and one is glad he did.

Imagine a game where Goku from Dragon Ball Z could fight Fox Mcloud from Starfox. Mario vs Sonic? No problem! This game has taken time, many years in fact to get this game right with as much input from the fans as can ever be. Don’t believe it? Watch the video at the bottom of the page.

For every stride they have performed, this game takes something that has been seen on a console and brings it to a PC. Flash games are usually perceived as pointless games that let one get through the day. This one has tremendous replay value that reminds me of an old Super Nintento while bringing up Super Smash Bros. franchise for the N-64, Gamecube, Wii, and now Wii U.

This games, like its predecessor which mirrored Melee, is like Super Smash Bros Brawl with Smash Ball and everything. With it’s character diversity and game play, this is easily much more than the run of the mill Flash game. It even is coming out with something that most flash game do not have (see movie at the bottom!) These are also the guys who provide the sprite pages, generally custom done for Screw Attack’s Death Battle!

The Hungry Gamer Reviews Tzolk’in

One of the more highly anticipated games from 2020 was Pendulum, a game that had a core conceit of time, the longer the worker stays out on the board the more powerful it is. Whether or not that game worked is a different article, but the concept of time being part of the mechanic for the worker placement game had been done previously, and if popular opinion can be believed, had been done very well in Tzolk'in, a game which has been around since 2012.
