TV: Marvel’s Jessica Jones Trailer Released

Marvel’s Jessica Jones will be hitting Netflix in just under a month, and to raise anticipation, we now have a trailer. You can check out the 2:28 video below, and see all that it’s setting up for the upcoming Netflix show.

Along with Krysten Ritter as the titular heroine, Jessica Jones, the trailer shows us Mike Colter as Luke Cage (who will be receiving his own Netflix show soon), and David Tennant as Zebediah Kilgrave, AKA The Purple Man. It also features Rachael Taylor as Patricia Walker and Carrie-Ann Moss as Jeryn Hogarth.

As the next entry to Marvel’s Netflix universe, Jessica Jones is based off the Alias comic book series by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos. At this point, Jones is working as a private eye, who just so happens to have superpowers. Something has happened in her past, something that Kilgrave made her do, that continues to haunt her, and keeps her out of the any major heroics. But Kilgrave is back, and is after her.

Marvel’s Jessica Jones will be available to view by streaming on Netflix starting November 20. Also keep an eye out for Daredevil season 2 and Luke Cage, as the Marvel Netflix universe continues to grow.
