Comic: WB & DC Announce ‘DC Super Hero Girls’ Coming This Fall

DC Entertainment and Warner Bros recently announced new ‘DC Super Hero Girls’ coming this fall. DC & WB have teamed up to bring female superhero fans, DC Super Hero Girlsan exciting new universe of Super Heroic storytelling that helps build character and confidence, and empowers girls to discover their true potential.” DC uper Hero Girls will center around the female superheroes and villains from the DC comic book world, “during their formative years and as “relatable teens” – prior to discovering their full super-power potential.”

 

Each of the characters, including but not limited to: Batgirl, Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Bumble Bee, Poison Ivy, Katana, will have their own unique story line that will show  “what teen life is like as a superhero, including discovering her unique abilities, nurturing her remarkable powers and mastering the fundamentals of being a hero.“

DC Super Hero Girls will be across “multiple entertainment content platforms and product categories to create an “immersive world.””

This fall we can expect to see a: “immersive digital experience, original digital content and digital publishing – providing opportunities for girls to interact with characters, learn about the storylines, and engage in customizable play. TV specials, made-for-videos, toys, apparel, books and other product categories will begin to rollout in 2016.“
