ConReview: Arista 2018

Arisia 2018 was this fan and volunteer ran convention’s 29th year in Boston, MA. Held at the Boston Westin, next door the convention center, it is a 4-day festival of art, sci-fi, costuming, gaming and Is New England’s largest, most diverse Sci-Fi, fantasy convention!

Literally, there is something for everyone, including cosplay contests, over 600 hours of panels, video and table gaming, art show, dealers room, Photo Booth by Nerd Caliber’s Rodney Brown among the many unique fan dome gatherings and events held almost 24 hours a day!

Con cosplay has literally every anime, steampunk, superhero, youtube and multi-media fandom represented! From Deadpool riding on a unicorn to a Noel cosplayer, you could see it all at this venue and it was incredible!

If you find yourself in Boston walking the Freedom Trail during snowfall, you’ve GOT to go to this convention, it’s amazing and it’s worth it to meet new cosplayers who love what you love – making costumes and cosplaying favorite characters!

This is a must go and gets 4.5 thumbs up for killing it in cosplay and available floor photographers.
