ConReview: Long Beach Comic Expo 2016

Long Beach Comic Expo was a blast this year. This is the smaller of the two events hosted at the Long Beach Convention Center but that doesn’t mean it didn’t pull a good crowd and have plenty of things to do. It was great all the awesome movie and vehicles they brought in for people to take pictures of.  I love seeing all the passion people put into building these cars.  They also had a good selection of food trucks to make surer everyone was fed.

There was a great turnout of cosplayers and lots of group shoots put together. It’s nice seeing the cosplay community come together and show off all the different costumes people come up with. I thought it was cool that LBCE brought in some different vendors and expanded their Cosplay Alley. There were prop builders, groups and single cosplayers. More of the guests they chose were available at there booth for longer times this show. Overall I had a pleasant time and saw lots of friends. It’s always a joy to make it out to LBCE for the weekend. I’m glad I was able to attend.
