Dropbox Bug Wipes Out User Files; Dropbox Offer Free Year Upgrade For Those Affected

If you have not heard yet, Recently a bug in the selective sync service of Dropbox has cause users to loose files. If you are using an older versions of its desktop apps then you could have been affected and should go check immediately. Dropbox says that it is working on restoring files and fixing the bug,  but it will be impossible to  restore all the lost files. In an effort to compensates those who are affected, with a year of Dropbox Pro service. SO keep a look out for an email like the one below:
