Gallery: Lions Club Special Kids Day at De Luna Ranch Gallery 2

Enjoy our second gallery of images from this wonderful event.

The Lions, Lioness and Leos Clubs of District 4-C3 in Alameda and Contra Costa counties recently held their annual Special Kids Day on May 7. The free event is held for special needs children and adults, their families and caregivers to give them an opportunity to enjoy activities which they may not otherwise have a chance to experience.

Rene and Maggie De Luna, owners of the De Luna Ranch, Brentwood Lions members and parents of our own Danny “DVIOUZ1” DeLuna have made their forest-like property in Brentwood, CA available for the event for the past several years.

We would love to thank the Lions Club, the De Luna Family and all the volunteers involved for having us and putting on such an incredible event.

The Hungry Gamer Reviews Tzolk’in

One of the more highly anticipated games from 2020 was Pendulum, a game that had a core conceit of time, the longer the worker stays out on the board the more powerful it is. Whether or not that game worked is a different article, but the concept of time being part of the mechanic for the worker placement game had been done previously, and if popular opinion can be believed, had been done very well in Tzolk'in, a game which has been around since 2012.
