May the Fourth Be With You Beer Release Party: Featuring a special limited release beer, “Star Wars” on the big screen at 4:30 pm, “Geeks Who Drinks”-style trivia at 7 pm, costume prizes awarded every hour and music.  Free admission, with food and drink available for purchase.  Wear Star Wars gear for discounts.  4:30-10 pm at Sactown Union Brewery. https://www.facebook.com/events/267655240250932/

Romance & Magic, May the Fourth Be With Us!:  The Golden Gate Knights will be teaming up the ARC Orchestra for an amazing orchestral performance of movie favorites. 7:30 pm at American River College. $15. https://www.facebook.com/events/156869641380180/

Cats in Space Tour Presents Space Battle Sacramento:  Don’t call them Lightsabers! These light-up prop swords are “cat blades”.   Disney Lucasfilm nixed the “Lightsaber Battle” parties that were happening at parks nationally, so “Cats in Space” arose from the ashes to fill the void.  Ain’t gonna stop hardcore fans from wearing their Jedi cosplays!  8 pm to 10:30 pm at Fremont Park.  Free, but $10 if you buy one of their cat blades. https://www.facebook.com/events/1542290866069096/
