Parallel Man Micro-Series Now on YouTube

The story of Parallel Man grows, expanding into animated short films. The comic was reviewed not too long ago, but the story is not contained in written word only, and these animated shorts will feature talent from actors John Cho (Harold & Kumar, Star Trek), Lance Reddick (The Wire, Fringe), and Ming-Na Wen (Mulan, Agents of SHIELD).

The four episodes of the animated micro-series can be viewed on FutureDude’s YouTube Channel. These, in turn, will tie into not only the comics, but the summer’s upcoming mobile game, tying three different mediums together for one expansive story.

Parallel Man is produced by FutureDude Entertainment, which aims to create stories that are told across multiple forms of media. The announcement can be read below:

Four Episodes Mirror Seven-Book Series; Available on YouTube

MINNEAPOLIS (May 18, 2015) –  FutureDude Entertainment, the premier source for intelligent, captivating, tomorrow-focused storytelling that spans genres, media and generations, announces the debut today of its animated action film short Parallel Man: Infinite Pursuit. All four episodes are available now as a micro-series for viewing on YouTube.  This summer, fans can also check out the mobile device video game Parallel Man: World Jumper and read the collected edition of the entire seven-issue comic book mini-series, Parallel Man: Invasion America, on which the micro-episodes are based.

Parallel Man: Infinite Pursuit takes the viewer on a wild ride through the multiverse as a reluctant hero tries to save our world from a deadly incursion. I wrote and directed this adventure to bring fans a different type of animated drama – one that combines both art and science to tell a visually compelling story,” said Jeffrey Morris, founder and CEO, FutureDude Entertainment.

The Parallel Man: Infinite Pursuit story follows Commander Nick Morgan — an intelligence agent from an evil version of America in an alternate universe. His government, known as The Ascendancy, has attacked and enslaved eleven other Earths and has its sights set on our world as their next target. Nick, and his companion Atlas, seeks out the leaders of a former rebellion known as The Futurists  for their assistance in assembling a legendary weapon that could stop the Ascendancy forever.

Actor John Cho,who plays Hikaru Sulu in the J.J. Abrams Star Trek reboot, lends his voice to Nick Morgan. Atlas is voiced by veteran actor Lance Reddick, most recently seen in Amazon’s Bosch. And Ming-Na Wen, currently Agent Melinda May in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, voices Major Mackenzie Cartwright.

FutureDude Entertainment will feature Parallel Man:Infinite Pursuit at the Comic Con convention in San Diego July 8-12 with an in-booth screening. Follow FutureDude on Facebook and on Twitter @futuredudeent to learn more about the company’s events and film projects as they develop.
