Review: Nerd Fest 2

I Traveled with the Geek Fashion Show to Fresno’s Fulton 55 for Nerd Fest 2. The event was put on by The Artourage, a local events, and promotion company.
The 21 and up event was May 12, 2017 held at the 2 story Fulton 55, 875 Divisadero Street in Fresno. The event provided a safe place for nerds, geeks and cosplayers to come out and play. Our own Douggary Grant and his Geek Fashion Show was one of the featured performances along with Karaoke, Cosplay Contest (Sponsored by Ani-Me Con), DJ by M/D. Bands that also performed that night include Bad Habits,
Iwanaga, For The Record. Other things to do include Beer Pong, Retro video Gaming, and vendors. Locals came out to support the nerd culture event dressed in cosplay.
Great event for the nerds to come out and play. I love this community. Looking forward to more events from Artourage.
Other events put on by Artourage include,
The Goblin Kings Masquerade Ball May 26 Fulton 55
Celebration & tribute to all things David Bowie!
Nerdy Hawkins ‘17 July 7 Fulton 55 Fresno
The name says it all! Hope someone asks me to it.
Enjoy a set of photos from the event, all photos in this set by Agent P G33ktography.

The Hungry Gamer Reviews Tzolk’in

One of the more highly anticipated games from 2020 was Pendulum, a game that had a core conceit of time, the longer the worker stays out on the board the more powerful it is. Whether or not that game worked is a different article, but the concept of time being part of the mechanic for the worker placement game had been done previously, and if popular opinion can be believed, had been done very well in Tzolk'in, a game which has been around since 2012.
