According to THR, Sean Maher will be guest starring in the 10th episode f this season. Sean, best know as Simon Tam from firefly will be playing the role of Shrapnel. Little is known about Shrapnel’s past, except at one time he was an average person named Mark Schrieffer. At some point he was turned into the creature he is now being made of organic metal. He has super strength and endurance, and requires no food or water to exist. His body consists of hundreds of pieces of an organic-metallic substance that can be projected into explosive bursts, each scale is a living organism controlled by Shrapnel’s consciousness. According to THR he will be ” a serial bomber who places Starling City in a grip of terror and threatens the life of Sebastian Blood” I can not wait to check this episode out!
