Film: Carmen Sandiego Is Heading To Netflix As An Animation

Netflix Is adding a new ‘Carmen Sandiego’ animated show to its lineup. Gina Rodriguez has been cast to voice Carmen Sandiego. The series is set to be produced by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and will premiere on Netflix in 2019. The show is said to have 20-episode ordered so far and “features not only a new crop of international capers packed but will looks into Carmen’s past to tell who she is and why she became a super thief. Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things) will voice Player, Carmen’s chief accomplice, and friend.” The new series will have Duane Capizzi as co-executive producer and showrunner, and CJ Kettler as executive producer.
