Film: Doctor Who’s K9 Is Getting Its Own Movie

Doctor Who’s original K9 is getting his own film in 2017. Bob Baker made the announcement at Doctor Who Appreciation Society convention in Manchester.

K9: Timequake sees K9 going up against Omega, the mad Time Lord. John Leeson will voice K9 in the film, which will be released in 2017.

The K9 used in both K9 the series and the up and coming #K9movie is the original, Mark one. Built by Marius and then left on Gallifrey with Leela.

The audios operate on a merchandisers franchise. The K9 tv series and the forthcoming movie are under artistic control and development by K9s original co creator, Bob Baker. This IS K9 Mark One.

HUGE thanks to the Doctor Who Appreciation Society for Saturdays 'Back to the 80's' event in Manchester and for hosting…
