According to ANN, Anime News Network, a new 3D CG Ultraman will be landing in Netflix in Spring of 2019. The show will be based off of the “12th compiled book volume of Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi‘s Ultraman manga.”
As previously announced, Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Eden of the East, Napping Princess) and Shinji Aramaki(Appleseed, Harlock: Space Pirate, Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars) are directing. Production I.G (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Eden of the East, Napping Princess) and Sola Digital Arts (Appleseed Alpha, Starship Troopers: Invasion, Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars) are producing the anime in 3D CG.
