‘Masters of the Universe’ Movie Gets Pushed to 2020

It looks like fans are going to have to wait a bit longer for that live action ‘Masters of the Universe’ movie. Sony has now officially pushed back the release date to 2020.

The reason for the delay is reportedly because a director and cast has yet been attached but via the grapevine we heard that directors Aaron and Adam Nee (Band of Robbers and The Last Romantic) will be shooting the film later this summer with Noah Centineo (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before 2 and Charlie’s Angels) as Prince Adam with a script by Matt Holloway (Men in Black: International and Iron Man) and Art Marcum (Punisher: War Zone and Iron Man). Hopefully this delay will produce for us a better movie about the mighty warriors of Eternia.
