Movie: Captain America: CIVIL WAR Will Have Daniel Brühl As Baron Zemo

Looks like Daniel Brühl has been cast as Baron Zemo in upcoming Captain America: Civil War. Recently a casting call has been put out which tells us the character that Bruhl will be playing. The casting call, by, also lets us know to expect  “U.S. government’s Superhuman Registration Act, which requires all superpowered individuals register their powers and report to S.H.I.E.L.D.”

The Main part of the casting call reads as:

Captain America: Civil War will begin production in Atlanta, GA this coming April, and the film’s casting director is set to begin auditioning actors in Los Angeles for new roles, both co-starring and supporting. Smaller speaking roles are also to be cast in both Los Angeles and Atlanta. Starring in Captain America: Civil War is People’s Choice Awards winner Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America. Also starring is four-time Golden Globe Award nominee Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Critics Choice Television Awards nominee Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, two-time Academy Award nominee Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Frank Grillo as Brock Rumlow/Crossbones, two-time Black Reel Awards nominee Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa/Black Panther. Golden Globe Award nominee Daniel Brühl has joined the cast as Baron Zemo.
Primetime Emmy Award winners Anthony Russo and Joe Russo will direct Captain America: Civil War from a screenplay written by Primetime Emmy Award winners Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. Executive Producers are Lars P. Winther and Alan Fine. AFI Award winner Kevin Feige will oversee production for Marvel Studios. Nate Moore will also produce. Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures will handle both domestic and international distribution. Captain America: Civil War is scheduled to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
