Temuera Morrison May Appear as Boba Fett in ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 2

If you’re a Star Wars fan like us, you’re most likely looking forward to seeing the upcoming season two of ‘The Mandalorian’ on Disney+. What new adventures will our hero and Baby Yoda get into in this second season of the hit series? What scum and villainy will they end up encountering?

Word from The Hollywood Reporter, actor Temuera Morrison (Aquaman and Dora and the Lost City of God) will be making an appearance in this next season. And that’s not all, he’ll be donning the iconic armor of the bounty hunter that started it all…Boba Fett.

Morrison was Jango Fett on 2002’s ‘Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones’. Of which, Boba Fett was an unaltered clone of the character and was played by Daniel Logan (Star Wars: The Clone Wars and The Time Warrior).

According to the report, it will be a small role after the character was teased during the season one episode ‘The Gunslinger’, when a “mysterious figure sporting the bounty hunter’s trademark spurs approached the apparently lifeless body of Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen).”

While this writer firmly believes that series should tell it’s own story, it is quite exciting to seeing all the little threads that ties into the grand overall Star Wars mythos. You can bet that we’re going to looking forward to seeing how this pans out. Hopefully we also get a full explanation of how Boba Fett got out of that sarlacc pit.

Season two of ‘The Mandalorian’ is set to air on October via Disney+.
