Nintendo President Satoru Iwata Passes Away at Age 55

Satoru Iwata It has recently been reported that Nintendo President, Satoru Iwata, passed away yesterday due to a bile duct growth. Health concerns had prevented Iwata from visiting previous E3 conferences but the man kept in contact with fans through Nintendo Directs.


Iwata first joined Nintendo in the 1980s, became Director in 2000 and then President in 2002.
