Rainbow Mika Joins the Fight in ‘Street Fighter V’

A new challenger has entered the ring! Yep! Rainbow Mika (aka R. Mika) will be joining in on the action in the upcoming ‘Street Fighter V’. The character made her first (and previously) only appearance in the franchise in ‘Street Fighter Alpha 3’. The flamboyantly dressed wrestler has long been a fan favorite and it looks like she won’t be fighting alone because her tag-team partner Nadeshiko will be assisting her out in the fights!

Players will be able to call upon Nadeshiko by using R. Mika’s V-Trigger ability and set up sneaky attacks and command grab mix-ups that will put a hurting on opponents. R. Mika can also pull out her microphone to play to the crowd and the longer the buttons are held down, the more powerful her normal and special throws will end up becoming. During the mic move she can also absorb one hit from her opponents and cancel it, in which will cause her to throw the mic at her opponent.

If you’re hitting up PAX Prime this weekend, you’ll have a chance to try out R. Mika the Capcom booth! ‘Street Fighter V’ is set for release in the Spring of 2016 for the PlayStation 4 and the PC.
