Batman/Superman Filming at East Los Angeles College Oct. 19 & Looking For Extras!

According to, East Los Angeles College Campus News, the new untitled Batman/Superman film is going to be filming at their college stadium on Oct. 19th. Filming is scheduled stadium during halftime of a Husky football game. Apparently a WB press release said, "that Snyder and producers of the film are looking for people in the Los Angeles area, preferably ELAC students, to be extras for the upcoming film." So it looks like if you are lucky enough to be in the area and get into the game you might have a chance at being a extra in the film. Also, " The first 2,000 people who sit in the filming area of the stadium will receive T-shirts designed by Snyder for those participating in the filming", and there is going to raffle prizes through out the night.

Syfy Created a “Jim Henson Creature Shop Challenge” Show!

Syfy's new show, Jim Henson's Creature Shop Challenge, has the go ahead for eight episodes. The show will pit 10 aspiring creature creators in a series of challenges where they will build everything, from " mechanical characters to whimsical beasts." The competition winner gets $100,000 and a contract to work at the famed Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
